Detective Inspector Tara Denn: “This was an extensive and complex investigation in which we assisted West Midlands Police and it is extremely pleasing to see that these dangerous individuals have now been removed from our communities.

“The sentences handed down show exactly how seriously acts of violence such as this are taken and there is absolutely no place for those who commit such crimes in our society. I hope the victim has found comfort in the fact that these individuals will now be behind bars for an extensive period of time.”
